Pot roast is a very easy meal to make but its not for the impatient types. I love recipes that start with adding all of the ingredients together in one cooking utensil. saves me a lot of time and allow me to do my laundry. Pot roast allow the flavors to mix in and for a really flavorful roast, cook on low heat.

This is a great easy recipe. I substituted half a can of beef broth for the water and when the roast was done, there was enough juice from the roast and beef broth to make a delicious gravy!

If you brown the pot roast on all 6 sides with a little oil first you will create later a richer browner gravy or auju. After browning then add the other ingredients.
